ACCOMODATIONS
This is a digital, self‑check‑in property. We don’t have a traditional front desk. Access codes and check‑in instructions will be sent to you on the platform you booked through and via SMS text message. Please check your phone for these details.

ACCESSIBILITY
The Artifact does not have handicapped accessible rooms, and has limited accessibility features. There are no elevators or lifts to access upper floors in either building. Guests may encounter stairs and other features that are not handicapped accessible or may pose challenges to anyone with mobility problems. Please see our Accessibility Statement for further information.
AMENITIES
Our guest amenities include our on-site café (The Farmacy), a private courtyard for outdoor relaxation, efficiency kitchens and DIRECTV with 100+ channels in every guest room. For a complete list of in-room guest amenities, please go to Amenities or consult room descriptions in Rooms.
CANCELLATION POLICY

CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES
Check-in is any time after 4:00 pm, and check out is by 11:00am. We do our best to honor requests for early check-in and late check-out, but due to the Inn’s small size and limited staffing we cannot make any guarantee.
HOW FAR AM I FROM …
The Artifact is centered in downtown San Diego, within 20 minutes walk of all of downtown. Petco Park and Gaslamp Quarter are only several blocks away, while the Convention Center and Harbor Waterfront less than one mile. LUGGAGE STORAGE
We do not at this time have secure facilities for luggage storage.
PARKING
We do not have off-street parking. Street parking is metered, and city meters are enforced between 8AM to 6PM, Monday through Saturday. Street parking is free on Sundays and holidays. Be advised that the city of San Diego also enforces a No Parking street sweeping schedule one night per week between midnight and 3AM. Look for signs. Self-serve parking lots may be found across the street on the south side of G Street, and also one block away at the corner of 8 th Avenue and F Street. Rates vary by time of day and day of week.
PETS
Pets of any kind are not allowed in the inn or guestrooms. There is a substantial cleaning fee to clean and sanitize rooms following an unregistered pet stay.
ROOM RATE POLICY
The base room rate for each guestroom allows 2 guests. The additional guest fee is $35/night, including all ages.
The maximum number of guests allowed in the Deluxe King Suite is 6.
The maximum number of guests allowed in the Deluxe Queen Suites is 4.
The maximum number of guests allowed in The Loft rooms is 2.
The maximum number of guests allowed in The Residences suites is 4.
SERVICE ANIMALS
Properly registered and specifically trained service animals are permitted. A ‘service animal’ is classified by the Americans with Disabilities Act as a dog trained and certified to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability. Note that under the terms of the ADA, service dogs that only provide emotional or comfort support are not qualified. Advance notice is required if planning a stay with a qualified service dog. A special cleaning fee may be applied.
SMOKING
The Artifact is a no-smoking property. Smoking of any sort (including vaping) is not allowed in rooms or anywhere on the property. If smoke odor or residue is detected in room at checkout, a automatic charge will be applied.
WIFI
Complimentary WIFI is available in all guest rooms and throughout the property. Details are provided at check-in.
